A Passion for Wellness
The Honey Tree had been in Northfield NJ for 30+ years. My husband and I started off as loyal customers until we were given the opportunity to purchase the business. After 20 years of working in the holistic industry myself, I finally felt at home. My wellness journey began with my first child, wanting to feed her well and supplement myself properly. Two years later my son was born. My son was diagnosed with Hereditary Multiple Osteochondromas (HMO), also know as Hereditary Multiple Exostoses, which required me to learn so much more about his nutritional needs.
I knew I needed to do something different, but it was a struggle. I found myself becoming hesitant of the medical regime they required, and it became difficult to balance between an allopathic and homeopathic routine. While seeking a natural intervention, I found light to a new career. I began working for a nutritionist in Atlantic County while going back to school for Optimal Nutrition and Wellness. I was a sponge to all the information. I am so grateful this path lead me to where I am now. I have the most amazing opportunity, and that is helping others achieve optimal health and wellness.
